Do you live locally and enjoy interacting with the local community, offer top customer service to our customers and be efficient in the process?

We are looking for a skilled or adaptable candidate to support the Manager at our Hastings - based school uniform retail shop – THE U SHOP.

The hours are not fixed but ideal for a person who is flexible with time. We have our busy times in Term 1 & 4 and quieter times in Term 2 & 3.

This role is perfect for someone who is confident, organised, service-driven, and ready to take ownership of the role in a well-established retail environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Supporting families with uniform fittings and advice
• Managing stock and completing general admin
• Running our POS system with accuracy
• Communicating with Head Office and a supportive backup team
• Representing a respected and trusted brand in the school community

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Proven customer service experience (retail background is a bonus)
• Strong computer skills – Excel, Outlook, and business systems
• Quick learning and confident using new software
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Apparel understanding is helpful but not essential
• Professional, warm, and clear in your approach
